Pricing Your Product

The FastCommerce.com pricing module allows you to create sale products.

1)      To modify existing an existing product, simply go to the alphabetical search at the bottom page of the product management module. Click on the alphabetical search by product name for your product, or hit the All button. From there you simply scroll down your product list, click on the product you want to change, and go to the product management page.  To create a new product, simply go to the tab on the right and click Add New Product.

2)      Scroll down to the list of pricing options. Your Price is a required field and will be the price of your product if you choose only this pricing option. That changes when you beginning to enter in numbers and click the buttons to the left to activate those fields. For example, in contrast to Your Price, you can choose to post a List Price.

3)      By clicking on the You Save button, the system automatically calculates the price difference between the List Price and Your Price, while calculating the percentage as well. At any time when you change a number, or restructure the price by adding or removing a price, you need to click the save button at the bottom of the page for the change to appear.

4)      Alternatively, you can add activate On Sale, enter into a price and then alternately calculating the savings and percentage depending on what fields are activated. For example, it the List Price is active, the You Save will calculate the savings and percentage from the list price. If you unclick the List Price, then the You Save is calculated for Your Price: the difference between Your Price and the On Sale price will be calculated as the number and percentage saved.

5)      Another option is to remove all pricing from the product page and choosing an option from the drop-down menu. This will also disable the shopping cart for this product.

6)      Remember, at all times, to save your work. You can only view the different price calculations after you have made the changes, and then hit the save button.
